Job Summary

  • Primarily responsible and accountable for the performance of quality financial audit procedures for assigned audit projects.
  • Ensures the timely and accurate provision of reports relative to the audit program and activities.
  • Assigned to more difficult projects and assists in complex projects with guidance of the Senior Auditor.
  • In the absence of the Senior Auditor in the fieldwork, will act as assistant for big engagements.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works under the direction of the experienced auditor or any other higher auditor (Supervising Auditor)
  • Performs detailed audit procedures as prescribed in the approved standard audit program and/or as instructed by the Senior Auditor
  • Prepares the necessary working papers in softcopy and hardcopy files and timely submits the same to the Senior Auditor for review
  • Performs detailed audit procedures on financial statement account balances based on audit programs
  • Prepares and adjusts working papers from clients' trial balance
  • Reviews documents/contracts/agreements submitted by clients and composing summary memorandums
  • Identify documents and propose resolutions on accounting and audit issues through as adjusting journal entry or a memorandum as part of the Management Letter comments.
  • Performs other accounting, auditing, and consulting duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel
  • Drafts annual financial statements, including footnote disclosures
  • Prepare Management Letter comments
  • Able to prepare agenda for client meeting
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Applicants who are a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus
  • Graduate of Accountancy
  • Fresh Graduate is acceptable though applicants with 1-2 years experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
