We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable (AR):
    • Process and record incoming payments from customers.
    • Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
    • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collection.
    • Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies.
    • Prepare AR aging reports and provide regular updates to management.

Accounts Payable (AP):

    • Review and verify invoices from vendors and suppliers.
    • Process and record payments to vendors accurately and on time.
    • Reconcile AP accounts and resolve discrepancies.
    • Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
    • Prepare AP aging reports and provide regular updates to management.

General Accounting:

    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
    • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
    • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience with QBO
  • ConnectWise knowledge would be an asset
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in AR and AP.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
