Job Function: Chemist

Location: MinebeaMitsumi Bataan Factory (Mariveles, Bataan)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive and perform test analysis of raw materials using laboratory testing equipment such as but not limited to GCMS, UV‐VIS and others.
  • Follow all procedures stated in the procedure manual related to testing.
  • Record and document laboratory results of the analysis and provide reports that require analysis of data.
  • Conduct routine and non‐routine analysis of samples.
  • Assist in the implementation of proper and efficient disposal of excess samples and waste materials.
  • Help maintain all the activities in the laboratory.
  • Verify laboratory analysis results and investigate chemical related or laboratory related activities and create improvement plans

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or has at least thirty (30) units of undergraduate Chemist courses recognized by CHED or TESDA
  • Preferably a Licensed Chemist
  • With at least 1 year experience in a Quality Control laboratory
  • With strong knowledge in Quality Control procedures, Data Analysis techniques and Laboratory Safety protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to the manufacturing industry
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate and reliable results
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
