International Relations Officer

About the role

The International Relations Officer – Resource Mobilization, generates resources in the forms of logistical, technical manpower and or financial support for PRC through mapping, networking and direct communication to potential partners either within or outside the RCRC movement. The goal is to bring all partners (who shares the same vision or goals) together to invest in a worthwhile projects/programs (emergency and developmental) for the communities to be implemented by PRC.

Maps out potential partners

• Develops, revises and/or updates tools on an annual basis to capture potential partners within and outside the RCRC movement.
• Maintains background information of potential partners on a regular basis (quarterly/semiannually/yearly) and safe-keep records of the organizational mandates of the potential partners in order to check if partners share the same goals and values with PRC.

Coordinates, networks and engages in partnerships

• Builds new relationships and networks with potential partners by inviting them to consider partnering with PRC to support new and/or on-going programs for the communities.
• Promotes to potential partners the PRC's capacities and resources and as well as services provided to the communities so that partners can better understand the system of the PRC and for them to find ways on how can they support PRC in all its endeavors.
• Engages in sound partnerships by setting-up coordination meetings, attendance in common events and activities and providing updates on the activities of PRC.

Proposes relevant and significant activities to partners and enters in formal partnerships

• Writes sound proposals (which are duly approved by the PRC management) to partners focusing on the interests of the partners so that better engagement and active participation can be achieved.
• Observes a cycle of revision, validation and submission of proposal documents according to the interests of either parties or partners.
• Pro-actively coordinates with potential partners who signified intentions to enter in formal partnerships with PRC in order to support the programs and services for the communities.
• Prepares office communications other than that of travel-related documents are well-written observing proper format on business/personal and memoranda

Conducts resource mobilization activities

• Proposes 1 to 2 doable activities on a yearly basis which will result to generation of funds or pledges from prospective partners.
• Organizes resource mobilization activities duly supported by partners and or stakeholders for the cause of PRC programs and services

Maintains good relationships with existing partners

• Offers for free any of the services of PRC to the partners supporting PRC on a yearly basis in order for the partners to appreciate our efforts in fostering harmonious relationships and realizing the value of partnerships. This approach is in coordination with the services concerned and must seek the endorsement of the concerned Managers and approval of the top management.
• Promotes exchange or study visits to partners to better understand the partners' organizational system and structure.

Facilitates Visa and passport application of travelling personnel

• Facilitates filing of visa/passport application together with concerned personnel within 7 working days after identifying official PRC representative/s

Attends to arriving guests with engagement to PRC

• Guests with engagement to PRC (movement or non-movement partners) are provided port courtesy, and well attended in the PRC - NHQ

Prepares and reviews office budget

• Budget prepared on a yearly basis and reviewed when needed (midterm review)
• Budget monitored every quarter and recommends actions to superior
• Performs all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of any 4-year course. Preferably with background on International Relations
• At least with 2 years direct involvement in any community related project/s.
• Knowledgeable in the activities of the Project Management Cycle
• Professional experience and or involvement in any project/programs skills in developing project design, Gantt chart etc.
• Must be willing to work onsite at Mandaluyong
