Position Summary

The role involves working within the accounts receivable team, on all aspects of the accounts receivable function as well as assisting with bank reconciliations, various accounting and ad-hoc admin tasks.

Key Responsibilities

· Payment Allocations: Perform daily customer cash allocations, ensuring accurate and prompt allocations against respective invoices.

· AR mailbox -deal with all customer/employee's queries or requests in a timely and organised manner. Also work with the internal customer support team to help customers with their queries.

· Customer master data management-management of all customers within the accounting system, regularly updating/reviewing customer master data as required.

· Month end reconciliations- ensure accounts are reconciled .

· Help with Credit applications

· Help with reporting and submissions of invoices

· Analyse and investigate queries and account transactions

· Help the AR team with ad-hoc daily tasks as instructed.

Reconciliation Skills
for major accounts

· Proficient in applications including Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and desirably has experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365

· Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic

· Come up with efficiencies

· Have an analytical mind and think outside the square

· General understanding of accounting and GST concepts

· Ability to work in a face paced environment, dealing with a high volume of queries/tasks on a daily basis

· Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in an accounts receivable role within the FMCG industry. This will include experience with payment allocations, rebate calculations and credit collection.
