Job Summary:

The Treasury Manager will oversee the organization's cash management, liquidity planning, investments, and financial risk management. This role ensures the company has the financial stability to meet its obligations while optimizing resources, reducing costs, and safeguarding against risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management: Proactively monitor daily cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company can consistently meet financial obligations.
  • Liquidity Planning: Develop and maintain accurate short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to support funding requirements.
  • Banking Relationships: Build and manage strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize accounts, credit facilities, and agreements.
  • Investment & Debt Management: Manage the company's investment portfolio, oversee debt obligations, and negotiate favorable financing terms to minimize costs.
  • Financial Risk Management: Identify, assess, and implement strategies to mitigate risks such as foreign exchange exposure, interest rate fluctuations, and counterparty risks.
  • Policy & Procedure Development: Establish and enforce treasury policies, internal controls, and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on treasury activities, cash flow, and financial performance to senior management.
  • Treasury Systems: Evaluate, implement, and enhance treasury management systems and automation tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or CFA/CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience in treasury management, corporate finance, or financial risk management.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, financial instruments, and banking operations.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
