Island Central Mactan, is a (6) level mixed-use development by GEEGE CENTRAL MALL, INC. It has both commercial retail and BPO office component located along Mactan Economic Zone, M.L. Quezon National Highway, Lapu-lapu City, Cebu.

The Complex has the right tenant mix which includes a supermarket, a department store, restaurants, service shops, concept stores, a travel lounge, resto bars and an event area to cater the growing demand of locals and tourists alike.

The Cost Controller is responsible for overseeing the release, monitoring, and tracking of all supplies requested by various departments (e.g., Engineering, Maintenance). This role ensures proper documentation, inventory control, and cost monitoring of materials, tools, and equipment. The position functions similarly to a Warehouse In-Charge, ensuring supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or cost monitoring.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Trustworthy, with a high sense of integrity and accountability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory and reconcile with system records.
  • Review and process supply requests from various departments.
  • Ensure proper documentation (requisition forms, approval slips) before release.
  • Track issuance of items such as paints, tools, or maintenance materials.
  • Record cost per item released per department to aid in cost allocation and budgeting.
  • Monitor supply usage trends and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Monitor stock levels and prepare reorder lists to avoid shortages.
  • Coordinate with purchasing for timely restocking of items.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory and cost reports.
  • Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or unusual consumption patterns to management.
  • Ensure warehouse and supply management complies with company policies and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly storage area.
