Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides immediate care/first aid treatment in case of illness or accident.
  • Schedules and assists the physicians in conducting physical assessment and dental examinations.
  • Maintains and ensures confidentiality of student health records.
  • Establishes appropriate screening tests and does referrals and follow-ups necessary on students in the assigned school campus.
  • Contacts, informs and discuss health problems of students to parents/guardians.
  • Participates in health education and safety programs where it is deemed appropriate.
  • Develops necessary information with regards to individual health problems disseminates the information to people concerned.
  • Ensures that IMS and other accreditation standards are implemented, monitored and documented.
  • Attends and participates in professional meetings, workshops and seminars related to health care services and programs for professional development.
  • Provides orientation for students regarding the School Clinic's programs and services.
