Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding and fabrication work using different processes (MIG, TIG, SMAW, or Gas Welding) as required by project specifications.
  • Assemble, fabricate, and repair metal structures, tanks, frames, and piping systems for production and installation.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct inspections on welded joints and surfaces to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively.
  • Support equipment installation, modification, and commissioning activities when needed.
  • Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Follow strict safety protocols, use PPE, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Report issues, defects, or material shortages to supervisors for immediate action.
  • Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to complete assigned tasks on time.

Qualifications:
  • Vocational or Technical Certificate in Welding, Fabrication, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant welding experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction setting.
  • Skilled in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, SMAW, etc.) and handling different metals such as stainless steel and carbon steel.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
  • Strong knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
  • Physically fit and able to perform tasks in different work environments (indoor/outdoor, confined spaces if required).
