Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation and review of journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
  • Ensure timely submission of tax filings and compliance with local tax regulations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and external auditors, ensuring timely provision of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and management responses.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decisions.
  • Train and mentor the accounting team to enhance their skills and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant
A Successful General Accounting And Reporting Manager Should Have

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA is a must
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate accounting or financial reporting role
  • Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close processes, and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
