Assistant to the Managing Director
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and well-organized Assistant to the Managing Director to provide both personal support and office administrative assistance. This role will help manage the Managing Director's schedule, run errands, and also support general administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Managing Director's daily schedule and calendar.
- Arrange appointments, meetings, and reminders.
- Book travel, accommodation, and transport.
- Handle emails, phone calls, and messages on behalf of the Managing Director.
- Run personal errands (shopping, bookings, appointments, etc.).
- Organize files, documents, and receipts.
- Handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Support with household or family-related tasks as needed.
- Liaise with staff, vendors, and service providers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a personal or executive assistant (preferred but not required).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Tech-savvy – able to use smartphones, email, calendars, etc.
- Trustworthy and respectful of privacy.
- Flexible and able to multitask.
