Tasked to supervise logistics operations to enable other departments in reaching their goals. Logistic operations would include transport of inventory, fixed assets, marketing materials and documents warehouseing, motor car parts

Duties and Responsibility

  • Follows established Company protocol and procedures.
  • Plans, organizes, supervises, and participates in the work of staff engaged in providing a variety of centralized general services such as purchasing and canvas of Motor car parts, courier, mail, telephone, and central supplies.
  • Determines workload requirements, establishes priority of work projects, production standards, and prepares schedules to meet deadlines, sets up flow of work, and assigns work accordingly.
  • Reviews the work of subordinates for accuracy, adequacy, and compliance with instructions, procedures, and work methods.
  • Monitors and ensures timely delivery of quality services to meet customer needs.
  • Responds to non-routine customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Explains operating procedures, policies, and regulations to administrators, faculty, students, and staff.
  • Monitors equipment usage and utilization patterns and trends, establishes Motor parts and billing procedures, and recommend approaches to improve service quality and performance while minimizing costs.
  • Selects, trains, evaluates, and supervises the work of assigned staff.
  • Prepares records, reports and correspondence concerning the work of the assigned units.
  • Participates in the preparation of the annual budget for the assigned units and monitors expenditures.
  • Recommends and assists in implementing new technologies and equipment to maximize effectiveness in meeting customer needs and integration with existing technologies.
  • Contacts service representatives to arrange major repairs and service related to general services equipment.
  • Prepares or approves requisitions for office supplies and parts needed to make minor repairs on support services equipment.
  • Maintains logs, files, procedure manuals, references, and other records.
  • Performs Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communication or a related field.
  • An experience in the insurance industry is an advantage
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
