About the role

As the National Sales Manager at Metro Drug, Inc.', you will oversee the strategic direction and execution of the company's national sales efforts. In this full-time role, you will lead a team to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives
  2. Manage and coach a team of regional sales managers to optimise performance and drive results
  3. Analyse sales data and market trends to identify new business opportunities
  4. Foster strong relationships with key customers and partners
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to support integrated sales initiatives
  6. Monitor sales pipeline and forecast accuracy to ensure the team is on track to meet targets
  7. Identify and address any roadblocks or challenges impacting sales performance
  8. Establish sales best practices and provide ongoing training and development for the sales team

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive sales management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  2. Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams to exceed targets
  3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  6. Familiarity with sales automation tools and CRM software
  7. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
