GoGym is a tech-enabled pocket Gym which enables Filipinos to access health and wellness anywhere they go. At GoGym, we aim to provide affordable and accessible gyms to everyone, extending our reach on health and fitness into the online presence through our mobile app.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Gym Coach to join our team at GoGym. As a Gym Coach, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the gym, maintaining cleanliness standards, promoting customer engagement through our app, and actively promoting personal training services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Opening Duties: Arrive promptly at the gym 5 minutes before 6 am to open the facility,

ensuring all necessary preparations are completed for the day ahead.

● Promote App Usage: Encourage customers to utilize our gym app for seamless

transactions, class bookings, and to stay updated on gym activities, promotions, and

events.

● Sales and Customer Engagement: Actively engage with gym members, providing

guidance, support, and motivation to help them achieve their fitness goals. Promote and

sell personal training sessions, both for general gym workouts and specialized training

such as MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), emphasizing the benefits and value to individual

members.

● Develop Training Programs: Work with individual clients to assess their fitness levels,

goals, and any specific requirements, and design personalized training programs to meet

their needs.

● Lead Group Classes: Conduct group fitness classes or training sessions as required,

ensuring a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and engagement to motivate participants.

● Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service at all times,

addressing member inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

● Maintain Cleanliness: Take responsibility for the cleanliness and organization of the

entire gym space,including workout areas, equipment, changing rooms, and any

communal areas. Regularly sanitize equipment and ensure a safe and hygienic

environment for all members.

● Maintain Gym Standards and Adhere to Policies and Procedures: Ensure

compliance with all gym policies, procedures, and safety protocols, prioritizing the

well-being and satisfaction of our members.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

● 2 or more years of fitness coaching experience (group or personal training) is a plus, but

not required

● Relevant certifications (e.g. ACE, NASM, CrossFit Level 1, or local workshops and

seminars.) preferred but not mandatory

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills (Tagalog and English)

● Passionate about fitness, health, and helping others succeed

● Punctual, reliable, and coachable
