About the role

Southland College of Kabankalan City, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Dean to lead the School of Business and Accountancy. This is a full-time position based in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental. As the Dean, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school's business and accountancy programmes, ensuring academic excellence and preparing students for successful careers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Provide strategic leadership and direction for the School of Business and Accountancy
  2. Develop and implement innovative curricula, teaching methods, and student engagement initiatives to enhance the school's reputation and student outcomes
  3. Manage and mentor a team of dedicated faculty, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
  4. Establish strong partnerships with industry, professional bodies, and the local community to align the school's offerings with market needs
  5. Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and the efficient management of the school's operations
  6. Represent the school at various academic and professional events, promoting its brand and achievements
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant educational regulations and accreditation standards

What we're looking for

  1. Doctorate degree in Business, Accountancy, or a related field, preferably a CPA.
  2. Substantial experience (3+ years) in academic leadership, preferably in the field of business and accountancy education
  3. A proven track record of driving academic innovation, improving student outcomes, and enhancing institutional reputation
  4. Strong financial management and budgeting skills, with the ability to allocate resources effectively
  5. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
  6. A commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment
  7. A deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices in business and accountancy education
