Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense and compound medications for both in-patients and out-patients.
  • Report adverse drug reactions (ADRs) as needed.
  • Manage emergency purchase orders and process related invoices.
  • Monitor and manage petty cash funds.
  • Prepare and liquidate petty cash vouchers.
  • Create requisitions for specialized areas as required.
  • Generate and submit daily income reports.
  • Handle inquiries from hospital wards and stations.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication use.
  • Upload data to the Electronic Drug Price Monitoring System (EDPMS).
  • Monitor temperature levels in accordance with DOH requirements.
  • Conduct inventory checks and manage shelf assignments.
  • Oversee drug management for AMS and ensure compliance.
  • Follow First In – First Out (FIFO) medication rotation practices.
  • Generate daily sales reports, including charge slips, cash slips, and credit memos.
  • Answer telephone inquiries regarding drug preparations and information from doctors and allied health professionals.
  • Record all purchased medications in the pharmacy invoice logbook.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all prescriptions filled.
  • Participate in the annual inventory of pharmaceutical products within the pharmacy.
  • Ensure the correct medication is given to the right patient, at the right time, and via the correct route of administration.
  • Compound IV admixtures, tablets, and other medications, ensuring correct quantities and proper labeling.
  • Supervise pharmacy students serving as interns in preparation for graduation and licensure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Must be a Registered Pharmacist.
  • Available to start immediately.
