Job Title: Architect

Reports To: Senior Architect

Position Summary:

The Architect is part of a team that has to work with limited supervision and will himself/herself lead a small team. The environment is fast paced and initiative is expected. Innovative thinking is equally expected and not just encouraged. The aforementioned setting requires substantial knowledge of local codes and international design standards. The architect is involved in all stages of a project's design (concept, scheme, detailed) and prepares corresponding design reports and presentation materials with the support of junior architects.

Key Activities

  • Provide support alongside Sr. Architects in the assigned projects;
  • Contribute to prepare and produce architectural documents (concept design, scheme design, detailed design) using Revit, CAD and other applications;
  • Idea generation for architectural solutions and design development;
  • Coordinate plans and drawings with other disciplines and resolve conflicts that may arise;
  • Aid in presentation materials;
  • Collaborate with the team to comply with project timelines;
  • Prepare estimate, BOQ and Technical Specifications; and
  • Attend meetings and site inspections of the assigned projects.

Qualifications / Skills and Knowledge Requirements

  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Critical and analytical thinking;
  • Experience with international consultants/ experts an advantage;
  • Knowledgeable with Revit and CAD software; and
  • Registered professional with at least six (6) or more years of related experience in the design of vertical structures, preferably railway stations.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture; and
  • Licensed Architect.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php35, Php50,000.00 per month
