insurers

● Technology providers that build solutions on top of the platform

Solutions Architect

Job Summary:

A Solutions Architect is responsible for understanding the business requirements (user stories) design and overseeing the implementation of IT solutions that meet the business goal. SA works closely with a cross-functional team to deliver a scalable, secure and efficient solution architecture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, demand management team and other stakeholders to provide high-level assessments for all technology projects.

• Collaborate with product owners (PO) to analyze and understand the business requirements/user stories.

• Collaborate with different IT units (Enterprise Architects, Application leads, Testing Architects, Infrastructure Architects, Information Security Architects, Project Managers, SLMs, Application support teams) to create and design solutions and document it into a Technical Implementation Plan.

• Conduct Buy, Build and Borrow assessment as part of the creation of the overall solution and provide recommendations on project direction.

• Conduct solutions walkthrough to internal stakeholders and service providers as part of the selection process to determine project cost, timeline & best-fit solution.

• Collaborate with product owners to prepare project budget presentations to Budget Committee.

• Oversee implementation and ensure that the solution design is adhered to during implementation.

• Maintain updated solution architecture documentation.

• Create a Technical Implementation Plan
