Job Summary

Ensures that the overall budget commitments of the Area are met in accordance with the Bank's thrusts and directions, and within prudent operational quality standards. Optimizes market share in the covered service areas, as well as maximizes profitability and service and operational effectiveness and efficiency in the supervised branches.

Job Description

  • Allocates the Area's mandated deposit targets, equitably to each branch within the Area's supervision, based on market strengths and potentials, ensuring optimum balance sheet growth for all units.
  • Promotes cross-selling in the branches of the Bank's corollary products and services, including but not limited to commercial/consumer loans, credit cards, cash management services, etc.
  • Promotes high awareness of operational policies and procedures, regulatory rules, and other relevant guidelines, among the BMs, BMOs, BOOs, and all branch personnel, thereby ensuring uniform, consistent and faithful adherence thereto in the performance of their regular day-to-day functions.
  • Communicates clearly and in a timely manner to all branches, all new policy issuances, amendments, circulars, guidelines, iterations, and other such instructions affecting and pertaining to branch operations, with the end in view of enforcing strict compliance thereto by all branch personnel concerned.
  • Conceptualizes sales & marketing programs for customers geared towards maximizing business potentials in each branch within the Area's supervision; Assumes a participative role in branch marketing particularly in referring prospective clients and in conducting joint calls with the Branch Managers.
  • Provides effective leadership, guidance, mentoring, and other motivational approaches to ensure that the required performance levels are achieved.
  • Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the Division Head or Head of BBG from time to time.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in branch banking and people management
  • Flexible and willing to travel across Mindanao branches
