Job Summary:

The SAP Lead for Sales & Distribution (SD) will take charge of designing, configuring, implementing, and continuously enhancing the SAP SD module, ensuring seamless integration with other functional areas such as MM, FI, WM, and CRM. This role is key in aligning the SAP system with the company's commercial operations, covering Sales, Order Management, Pricing, Distribution, Billing, and Customer Service.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the end-to-end solution design and configuration of the SAP SD module, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  2. Assess existing business processes, identify system and process gaps, and recommend enhancements for improved efficiency.
  3. Serve as the SAP SD stream lead across projects such as rollouts, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
  4. Oversee project delivery, including timeline management, resource allocation, task execution, and risk mitigation.
  5. Facilitate solution workshops and perform key project activities such as fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
  6. Partner with Data Management teams to maintain the accuracy and integrity of SD-related master data (Customer Master, Pricing, Material Master, Condition Records).
  7. Implement and enforce order-to-cash controls, including pricing approvals, credit management, and delivery blocks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of years of hands-on experience in the SAP SD module in an SAP ECC or S/4HANA environment
  • At least 2 full-cycle SAP SD implementations in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Experience in integrating SAP SD with other modules and third-party applications
  • Proven track record of leading project teams or being a solution lead in SAP transformation projects
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP SD processes (Order-to-Cash, Pricing Procedures, Account Determination, Credit Management, Delivery Scheduling, Billing)
  • Strong understanding of SAP SD master data and its impact on business processes.
