•Developing and implementing purchasing strategies


•Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.


•Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.


•Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.


•Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.


•Preparing reports on purchases, including cost analyses


•Training new employees in the purchasing process


•Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed


•Research potential vendors- Compare and evaluate offers from supplier.


•Track orders and ensure timely delivery

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Superior analytical skills and ability to use data and numbers to drive decisions.
  • Superior ability to think strategically and with a customer lens, understanding not just current customer needs, but anticipating future growth opportunities
  • Familiarity with procurement software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other tools used in the procurement process.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Basic conversational level Mandarin proficiency is a plus
  • With a good leadership and people-management skills
  • 1-2 years of people management experience required
  • 1-2 years of Category Management or Purchasing experience required
  • Retail/Consumer goods industry experience preferred
