Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Solutions Development Analyst
to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop expertise in solution development, pricing strategy, and financial analysis. You will be instrumental in supporting our response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and ensuring the financial viability of proposed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • RFP Response Support:
    Learn and execute the process for responding to
    Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
    , focusing on the financial and solution development aspects.
  • Financial and Pricing Analysis:
    Assist in developing pricing models and proposals, ensuring they are accurate, competitive, and align with financial objectives.
  • Data Management and Entry:
    Handle essential data entry and maintenance tasks related to pricing, financial tracking, and solution parameters.
  • Collections and Financial Understanding:
    Apply a foundational understanding of financials, accounting principles, and collections processes to contextualize pricing and solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Exceptional Attention to Detail:
    Must be exceptionally attentive to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial and solution documentation.
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency:
    Great Excel skills
    are mandatory, including expertise in:
  • VLOOKUPs
    (or equivalent lookup functions like XLOOKUP). *
    IF statements
    and other conditional logic.
  • Working effectively with
    formulas
    and large datasets.
  • General spreadsheet organization and data manipulation.
  • Strong Mathematical Aptitude:
    Excellent
    math skills
    are required for complex calculations, financial modeling, and data analysis.
  • Relevant Experience:
    Prior experience in or exposure to:
  • Pricing
  • Financial analysis or accounting
  • Collections or similar financial administrative roles
  • Extensive data entry or data management

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has a background in data entry, collections, or a financial/administrative role, coupled with proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This person is eager to learn solution development, understand complex financial inputs, and contribute to high-stakes business proposals.
