You will join one of our Digital Product Teams in the Project Execution and Portfolio Management area within Digital Technology Products. In this product area, we transform Vestas' Project and Portfolio Management through innovative technology. Our aim is to digitize the Customer (CPX) and Enterprise Project life cycle to enable effective reporting and collaboration for our stakeholders. This transformation enhances collaboration by providing real-time information, increases efficiency through an integrated approach, and supports better decision-making with detailed insights. Stakeholders benefit from innovative technology that streamlines processes and maximizes the value of IT, aligning with Vestas' growth strategy and contributing to overall efficiency.Digital Technology Solutions > Digital Technology Products & Platforms > Project Execution & Portfolio ManagementResponsibilitiesIn our agile, product-led setup, as an IT Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to support and consult the Project Execution and Portfolio Management product area. You will work closely with the product team and other stakeholders to maximize the value of IT, ensuring that our technology solutions align with business goals and promote continuous improvement. Your role will involve providing strategic guidance and facilitating collaboration to deliver impactful and efficient IT solutions.The role requires a hybrid work setup, with a requirement to report to the office a certain number of days per month. The specific number of in-office days will be discussed during the hiring process.Key responsibilities include:Collaborate with fellow product team members, business process experts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of improvements and initiativesGovernance of development and support activities to safeguard the integrity of the existing applications and servicesProvide technical leadership around project management solutions, ensure system quality, encourage collaboration, and support continuous improvement to align with business goalsUnderstand stakeholder requirements, analyze, and extract those of architectural significanceFormulate design solutions that balance goals and constraintsEnsuring the solution's structure meets requirements and can accommodate future adjustmentsQualificationsYou have a master's degree in computer science or a related field6-8 years of experience in solution designing and architectureYou have worked with construction, project supply chain, or project management processesYou have experience with lifecycle management of an IT platform (Requirement capturing, specification, development, and support)You have broad knowledge of SAP systems and how these apply to a project supply chainExperience with SAP modules (e.g., SAP PM, SAP PP, SAP MM, SAP PS, SAP Cloud Platform)Knowledge of enterprise integration conceptsKnowledge of solution design and architecture of complex solutions, including web applications, integration platforms, and infrastructureExperience in Azure servicesExposure to different technologies and project management toolsFamiliarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practicesA consultancy backgroundCompetenciesGood interpersonal skills, including the ability to create relations and cooperateSkilled in conveying ideas clearly and delivering impactful presentationsOpen-minded and able to facilitate changesDeep technical understandingGood understanding of what drives usability and provides a good end-user experienceGood analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and able to approach your work in a structured wayThrive in diverse environments and are skilled in handling changing circumstancesWhat We OfferWe offer you an engaging role with great professional and personal development opportunities in an inspiring, progressive, international work environment at an established manufacturer of wind turbines.
