The Treasury Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timely posting of financial transactions within the company's accounting system. This role involves a high degree of detail-oriented work, adherence to strict deadlines, and a strong understanding of financial procedures.

Key Result Areas:

  • Posting of Collections

  • Posting of Liquidation

  • Closing of ROPA Sales

  • Fund Transfers

  • Bank Charges

  • Restructuring of Accounts

  • Other Items Related to Posting

  • Float Reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tagging and posting of various financial documents, including Post-Dated Checks (PDCs), bounced checks, payment center transactions, bank remittances, and ROPA sales.

  • Ensure all postings are completed within 3 working days with 100% accuracy.

  • Post liquidation expenses and ensure completeness of supporting documentation within a 1-day turnaround time (TAT).

  • Timely and accurately post entries related to ROPA sales, including supporting documentation, within a 1-day TAT.

  • Process fund transfers and ensure accurate posting of entries and documentation within a 1-day TAT.

  • Post bank charges correctly and timely, including supporting documentation, within a 1-day TAT.

  • Restructure accounts accurately, ensuring completeness of documentation, and achieving 100% accuracy in entries.

  • Post other financial transactions accurately and timely, ensuring completeness of documentation and 100% accuracy in entries.

  • Prepare and submit float reports with 100% accuracy, ensuring the balance of deposited amounts matches tagged amounts.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in accounting or treasury.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Excellent knowledge of financial transactions and documentation procedures.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
