Scope of Role

We are looking for a fast-learning and highly numerate Finance Assistant to join our growing Finance team in Manila. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of ITRS Group Limited and its subsidiaries. This role will work closely with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams and contribute to month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

As a Finance Assistant, you will:
  • Support the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams.
  • Own the reconciliation of bank and credit card statements.
  • Assist with processing payments and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure accurate inputting of VAT and support international VAT compliance.
  • Reconcile receivables (debtors) and payables (creditors).
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support the Finance team with ad-hoc tasks and business requests.
  • Assist in enhancing management and financial reporting.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Help reduce compliance risk and support strategic growth.

Requirements

  • A solid understanding of basic double-entry accounting and accounting concepts.
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounts or bookkeeping; SaaS industry experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FinancialForce (FF) or similar systems is desirable; training will be provided.
  • Strong numerical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A good understanding of international VAT is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work in a hybrid setup, reporting onsite at least 2x a week to our Makati office
