Job Title: Lofty Tier 2 Technical Support

About the Team: The Lofty Tier 2 Technical Support Team is responsible for communicating with customers, troubleshooting issues, creating customized scripts to meet customer requirements, implementing and using internal tools, and integrating with third-party services. Additionally, you'll have the unique opportunity to participate in large-scale, fast-moving projects and be responsible for the development and maintenance of core services. We are looking for someone who is ready for a dynamic, technology-driven environment with a passion for learning basic development skillsets.

Responsibilities and Duties: Once you join our team, you will:

  • Help find solutions to our customers' toughest technical and business questions and achieve KPI requirements.
  • Assist the Tier 1 support team in a timely manner to provide outstanding and professional technical support by handling JIRA tickets.
  • Collaborate with the Tier 3 developer team to assist and participate in special development projects.
  • Write scalable, secure, and clean scripts to troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Approach requirements from a developer perspective to write scalable, secure, and clean code to enhance our web application.
  • Be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging issues and using basic commands to analyze service logs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related majors.
  • Solid understanding of HTTP basics and its usage in web applications.
  • Solid understanding of Java basics, including but not limited to basic data structures, JVM, I/O, and concurrent and multithread programming; Spring Boot experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with commonly used relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Good analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and enthusiasm for programming.
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting language, e.g., Shell or Python.
  • Basic Linux knowledge.
  • Good communication skills, with fluent verbal English.
