Role Overview

The Photo Editor will support White Key Marketing's content creation process by managing and enhancing photo assets with a focus on quality and brand consistency. This remote role requires proficiency in Lightroom and Photoshop, effective communication via WhatsApp, and task management in Notion with Dropbox file uploads. Reporting to the Post-Production Manager, the Photo Editor will elevate visual storytelling through advanced editing techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficient Communication: Communicate promptly and effectively with the team via WhatsApp to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Task Management: Update tasks in Notion and attach edited files from Dropbox after completing each project.
  • Color Correction: Apply basic color adjustments and white balance to enhance image quality.
  • Color Matching: Ensure a cohesive look by color matching between multiple images.
  • Color Grading: Adjust images to align with the brand's look and feel, enhancing visual identity.
  • Image Manipulation: Use Photoshop to mask, remove, and add objects within images for creative flexibility.
  • Image Selection & Culling: Review raw photo albums, select high-quality images, and cull unwanted shots to streamline content delivery.
Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for photo editing and retouching.

  • Expertise in color correction, including basic adjustments and white balance.
  • Ability to color match and grade images to match brand aesthetics.
  • Advanced Photoshop skills for masking, object removal, and addition.
  • Strong eye for selecting and culling images from raw photo sets.
  • Familiarity with Notion for task management and Dropbox for file sharing.
  • Creativity: Keen aesthetic sense to enhance brand storytelling through photo editing.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with a requirement to use WhatsApp for team coordination.
  • Education: No formal degree required; equivalent experience and a portfolio are sufficient.
  • Portfolio: Submission of a portfolio or work samples showcasing photo editing projects is require
