Video Editor/ Videographer

Job Description

A Videographer/ Video Editor is responsible for conceptualizing, capturing, and editing video content for brand or product promotion purposes. They use a professional camera and it's equipment, and various editing software to create visual stories that attract and captivate the interest of audiences. A Videographer can work in different settings, including on set, on location, and for social media, corporate promotions, events, and documentaries.

Functions/Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizing: Coming up with detailed, creative, and engaging ideas for contents to promote the brand.
  • Communication: Interacting with others specifically the persons related to the video creation, video shoot and the persons within the company.
  • Setting-up and Shooting: Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment and preparing background film. This also includes defining the project, choosing location, selecting appropriate equipment, creating a storyboard, writing a script, and assisting talents.
  • Camera Operation: Oversees camera operations, including lens selection, camera movement, and framing.
  • Equipment management: Maintaining, cleaning and managing all videography related equipment.
  • Editing: Adding computer graphics, closed captioning, editing and putting special effects to footage after recording with the use of various video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci, etc.) to achieve the desired visual result.
  • Collaborating: Working with the creative teams and other departments to plan video shoots.
  • Research: Researching trends in the market.

Experience:

  • With at least one (1) year proven experience in videography.
  • Can use and handle a professional camera and various related equipment.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of trends or popular things in multimedia and the internet.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Job Description

FritschNET is a performance marketing company. We run and operate several coaching offers where we teach people how to build various online businesses. Therefore, we have an ongoing need for talented video editors. The Youtube Ads Video Editor is a supporting position on the marketing team for FritschNET. You will be responsible for helping us create, edit and optimize our YouTube videos for advertising as well as videos for our web site. This is a full-time position that requires working closely with our CEO and the marketing team to establish project timelines and anticipated completion dates on time and on budget.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Create videos that are part of a marketing campaign designed to drive traffic and conversions for specific offers.
  • Show competency in videography principles from scripting through final editing
  • Be proficient at turning talking head videos into engaging animated videos using graphics, overlays, motion graphics and b-roll.
  • Be proficient in typography, color, composition, compositing, key framing, and title design
  • Ability to work with a team directly in edit sessions to assess needs and meet project requirements.
  • Properly maintain a digital archive.
  • Possess a strong attention to detail and time management skills, and be an organized team player.
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced environment on weekly deadlines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Analyzing view and CTR metrics to improve engagement, click throughs and conversion rate.
  • Play a highly collaborative creative role in structuring new ideas and managing post-production projects to completion.
  • Create and produce marketing videos and PR videos, as needed.
  • Sourcing photos, stock video and audio as needed for projects.
  • Edit and upload footage and maintain video logs and media storage.
  • Use Google Ads and videolytics to analyze effectiveness of media, with the intent to optimize and improve retention and conversions.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 3+ years of video production experience
  • Experience with remote team tools like Time Doctor, Slack, Trello, Google Suite, LastPass, and Zoom.
  • Experience using video software Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Excellent English skills, and able to communicate well both verbally and in writing

TECH REQUIREMENTS

  • Computer - at least i5 or equivalent with 8gb RAM
  • Internet Speed - At least 20 MBPS Download speed

WORK SCHEDULE

Work hours are from 1PM to 10PM PST(4AM to 1PM PH Time)

Position is full-time

SALARY RANGE

Php 50,000 - 75,000 monthly, DOE

We pay 13th month and all Filipino holidays.

Key Responsibilities: Graphic Design & Multimedia:

  • Create compelling designs for both print and digital platforms.
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for various projects.

Requirements

  • Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and/or other design and layout applications.
  • Possess a strong command of English grammar, spelling, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Arts, Information Technology (I.T.), Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or an equivalent field.
  • Enrolled in Internship/Practicum in the Philippines.
  • Demonstrates a strong “Can-Do” and results-oriented attitude.
  • Experience in copywriting, article writing, or content creation is a plus.
