Position Overview

The Marketing Officer / Social Media Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. This role focuses heavily on content creation, social media management, brand promotion, and supporting overall marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, engagement, and leads.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Manage official social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Create engaging content (graphics, captions, videos, reels).
  • Schedule posts and ensure consistent brand voice and messaging.
  • Monitor online engagement, respond to comments/inquiries, and handle customer concerns.
  • Track social media KPIs and provide monthly performance reports.

2. Content Creation & Branding

  • Produce marketing materials such as posters, banners, brochures, presentations, and ads.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all platforms and marketing collaterals.
  • Support product launches, campaigns, and internal communication materials.

3. Digital Marketing

  • Assist in managing online advertisements (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Support basic SEO and website updates when needed.
  • Track performance of digital campaigns and suggest improvements.

4. Marketing Operations

  • Assist in planning and executing events, trade shows, webinars, and company activities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, agencies, and internal departments for marketing requirements.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights gathering.
  • Maintain marketing files, photo/video archives, and content libraries.

5. Administrative & Coordination Tasks

  • Prepare marketing reports and proposals.
  • Support sales teams with marketing materials and lead-generation activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager or management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in social media management or digital marketing is an advantage (Fresh graduates are welcome).
  • Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
  • Skilled in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.).
  • Good communication skills—written and verbal.
  • Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills (Not required but an advantage)

  • Basic photography and videography skills.
  • Knowledge of Facebook Ads / Meta Business Suite.
  • Basic SEO and website management (WordPress, Wix, etc.).
  • Experience in event organizing or marketing coordination.
