APPLICATION MANAGEMENT, SENIOR ASSOCIATE

A SAP Payroll Functional Consultant designs, implements, and supports SAP Payroll systems by configuring modules, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include gathering client requirements, configuring and testing the SAP Payroll system, troubleshooting issues, training end-users, and ensuring seamless integration with other HR and Finance systems. This role requires deep knowledge of SAP Payroll functionalities, strong problem-solving skills, and collaboration with other teams within the company, and may require interactions with clients whenever needed. 

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams (HR, Finance) to understand their specific payroll needs and processes. 

• System Configuration: Configure SAP Payroll functionalities, including schemas, rules, and processes, to meet client requirements and ensure compliance with regulations. 

• Integration: Facilitate point-to-point integration between SAP Payroll and other systems like Finance (posting journals) and third-party rostering systems. 

• Testing and Validation: Conduct system testing and validate payroll outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability. 

• Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to payroll processing within the SAP system. 

• Documentation and Training: Prepare functional specifications, system documentation, and provide training to end-users on SAP Payroll solutions. 

• Project Support: Contribute to project deliverables, monitor project tasks, and provide guidance to the team to ensure solutions meet business requirements. 

• Best Practices: Advise clients on SAP best practices for HR payroll management and process optimization. 

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Preferable 2 years or up experience in SAP HR/Payroll system as Functional Consultant or Analyst.

• Deep understanding of the SAP Payroll module and its functionalities.

• Expertise in configuring SAP schemas, rules, and time management systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Knowledge of HR and finance processes related to payroll.

• Familiarity with SAP best practices and implementation methodologies. 

Job Qualifications:

• College Graduate/Bachelor's Degree preferred

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in SAP HR (Payroll)

• Advantage – Certified SAP
