The Senior General Accountant will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting activities, with a strong focus on revenue, accruals, and prepayments. This role requires a highly independent professional who can handle multiple facets of accounting with minimal supervision, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting the growth and efficiency of the company's finance operations.

Tuesday to Saturday I 12 AM to 9 AM (Manila Time)

*Following US Holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of general accounting, including revenue, accruals, prepayments, COGS, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly schedules such as amortization, prepaid, and accrual schedules.
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including journal entries and financial reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and timely resolution of accounting issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience handling revenue, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, AR, AP, and COGS.
  • Strong working knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP (experience with any enterprise-level ERP system is acceptable).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
