We're looking for a Claims Senior Associate to join our Insurance Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are responsible for handling a variety of regular claim work types, including indexing and processing paramedical claims. This role involves efficiently managing claims to ensure accurate and timely processing, adhering to company guidelines and standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and a thorough understanding of claims processing procedures.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Possess background knowledge of insurance terminologies, concepts, and policy provisions administration.
  • Review and investigate claim documents submitted by policyholders and providers.
  • Assess and analyze benefit coverage based on policy provisions.
  • Perform claims processing tasks, including data input and updates, following standard procedures and best practices.
  • Manage routine tasks to meet or exceed quality, productivity, and turnaround time targets.
  • Collaborate with team members to accurately complete ad hoc requests and respond to communications efficiently.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Proven track record in current role
  • No attendance issues
  • Background knowledge of insurance terminologies, concepts, and administration of policy provisions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the general accountabilities of the role
  • Awareness of compliance requirements and risks associated with non-delivery of key tasks to the team as a whole
  • Basic knowledge of the end-to-end process cycle, particularly concerning the related group or area supporting or being supported by the team
