The DevOps Engineer position supports the company's growing engineering team and infrastructure requirements. The application stack is primarily hosted on Microsoft Azure, and the role is responsible for optimizing, scaling, and securing the cloud environment while maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines. The position is critical to preventing downtime incidents by ensuring proper monitoring, faster incident response, and a clear escalation path for developers when issues arise. In addition, the DevOps Engineer provides ongoing guidance to the development team in the Philippines on DevOps practices and cloud-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure (VMs, App Services, Networking, Storage, Security).
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.
  • Ensure smooth integration and deployment processes across environments.
  • Administer and monitor Git repositories (branching strategies, permissions, integrations).
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for proactive issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to streamline release processes and improve deployment reliability.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and adherence to security best practices.
  • Automate operational tasks and improve deployment workflows where possible.
  • Provide on-call support as business needs require to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, or similar tools).
  • Proficiency with Git and repository management.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or similar).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.
  • Basic knowledge of C# (ability to read/debug code to support integration and deployment processes).
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
