Clinic Duty Nurse

The Clinic Duty Nurse is responsible for providing basic healthcare services to Winford Resort & Casino Manila employees and guests. He/she will conduct health assessments, administer first aid, and provide health-related recommendations for employees.

1.1.   Essential Functions

Quality

Administer first aid treatments and provide medications for employees and guest as needed

Delivering patient care, administering treatments and monitoring vital signs.

Maintain all employees and guest medical records

Monitor and assess the health status of employees

Treating and assess the emergency injuries

Identify and recommend to Occupational Health Physician and Safety & Security department of health-related seminars and programs

Administering medications and treatments prescribed by physicians according to the established

protocols.

Secure and ensure the necessary stock and equipment needed in the clinic.

Secure and ensure that the sick employees submit fit to work certificate as requirement for return to work

Prepare accident reports and necessary medical reports

Recommend necessary actions or policy adjustments to ensure the health and safety of the

employees

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes

Clinic management makes critical decisions during medical emergencies in coordination with the Emergency and Safety Compliance Unit responders and the Safety & Security team.

Checking the available medicines at employees' clinic and guest clinic.

Ensuring medical supplies and equipment are readily available in case of an emergency

Daily checking for completeness of grab bag-emergency kit for ready utilization in the event area, 3rd floor Lounge and Hippodrome Bar and Lounge

Compilation of daily activities report

Compilation of weekly and monthly reports

Compilation of medical assistance report

Checking the stock on a regular basis for maintaining the inventory level

Disinfection of workplace and medical equipment to maintain hygienic and safe working environment

Decontaminating equipment's and instruments.

Effectively handles Employee and Guest health concerns

Provide prompt, courteous employee and guest service at all times following the health service standards.

Work closely with team members to deliver the best results to the employee and company

Ensure team's adherence to all health and company policies and participation in company programs.

Financial

Works within the allocated budget for clinic.

1.2.   Nature of Work

Involves working in a crowded indoor area with second-hand smoke and high noise levels

Involves working on odd hours and on weekends/holidays

Involves handling difficult or demanding guests / players

Job Requirements

1.1.   Education

1.1.1. A Diploma/Degree in Nursing

1.1.2.Registered Nurse with active license

1.2.   Experience

1.2.1. At least 1-2 years' experience as a company nurse or similar role

1.2.2. With Basic Occupational safety and health- training for nurses.

1.2.3. Has a strong knowledge in workplace safety and health regulation.

1.3.   Knowledge and Skills

1.3.1.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

1.3.2. Basic knowledge in preparing and maintaining record.

1.3.3. Clinical knowledge and application to occupational health practice

1.3.4. Knowledgeable of software such as Microsoft Office1.1.   Education
