We're seeking a part-time trainer to deliver engaging face-to-face training sessions on Data Privacy and Ethics in the Workplace. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data privacy laws and ethical principles, promoting a culture of compliance and data protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver interactive and comprehensive training sessions on Data Privacy and Ethics
- Coordinate with the training team to ensure alignment of training content with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Assist in enhancing or updating of existing training materials
- Monitor learner progress and provide coaching and support as needed
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and curiosity by engaging participants through interactive and practical training methods
- Maintain accurate attendance and learner progress records
- Evaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback for improvement
- Create practice questions, activities, or assessments as needed to reinforce learning
- Perform other training-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of privacy laws (e.g., RA and ethical principles in workplace
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching, mentoring, coaching, or conducting training sessions
- Previous experience with BPO, IT, or digital-enabled services industry preferred
- Familiarity with productivity tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical learners
- Strong communication and facilitation skills in both English and Filipino
- Experience in preparing reports, documenting learner progress, and giving feedback
- Willingness to sign and comply with company agreements, including Non-Disclosure and curriculum usage policy
- Available to teach on-site, face-to-face classes in Mandaue City, Cebu on an as-needed basis
Nice to Have:
- Relevant experience in roles such as Data Protection Officer, Compliance Officer, Data Security Analyst or similar positions
- Experience as a college instructor is a plus
- Certification in data privacy or related area is an advantage
