Buyer / Merchandising Buyer (FMCG – Vending Operations)

We are looking for a Buyer / Merchandising Buyer to handle supplier sourcing, product selection, pricing, and inventory management while ensuring proper product placement and performance across vending operations. This role combines buying, merchandising, and coordination to support sales growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and accredit new suppliers based on product quality, pricing, and reliability.
  • Identify product gaps, slow-moving items, and new market opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing, apply margin guidelines, and set SRP.
  • Manage listing and onboarding of suppliers, including documentation and coordination with Purchasing.
  • Monitor product performance and replace low-selling items with high-potential SKUs.
  • Maintain SKU database, pricing records, and inventory (PAR) levels.
  • Place and manage purchase orders; monitor stock availability.
  • Conduct basic visual merchandising checks and site audits.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, and suppliers for promotions and updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in buying, merchandising, procurement, or FMCG operations preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of pricing, inventory planning, and supplier coordination.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and inventory or POS systems.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
