This role supports the hotel's overall cleanliness and health standards by performing scheduled inspections, treatments, and preventive interventions, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and organizational policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular and systematic inspections of all hotel/resort areas, including rooms, in-house, kitchens, storage areas, landscaped gardens, and drainage systems.

  2. Identify signs of pest activity such as droppings, nesting areas, damage, or unusual behavior patterns

  3. Apply appropriate pest control treatments (chemical, mechanical, or biological) following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.

  4. Prepare detailed pest activity reports and treatment logs after every inspection or intervention.

  5. Identify the type of pest infestation and recommend proper solutions or preventive actions to minimize recurrence.

  6. Safely store, handle, and dispose of pesticides and pest control equipment following regulatory and company standards.

  7. Coordinate with Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Engineering teams to ensure critical areas remain clean and protected against pest entry.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

  1. At least a High School Diploma or Vocational Course in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field.

  2. Preferably with at least 1 year experience in pest control within hotels, resorts, restaurants, or industrial facilities.

  3. Knowledgeable in pest identification, behavior, and treatment methods.

  4. Familiarity with safe handling and storage of pesticides and chemicals.

  5. Ability to understand and follow technical instructions for pest control equipment and substances.

  6. Physically fit and able to perform tasks that involve walking, bending, lifting, and climbing.

  7. Good communication skills and able to coordinate with different departments.

  8. Strong attention to detail when conducting inspections and assessments.

  9. Ability to maintain accurate pest control logs, reports, and documents.
