We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with strong Cybersecurity background to support and lead security-focused initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate must bring deep expertise in business and data analysis, security frameworks, and hands-on involvement in security-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and security requirements for cybersecurity programs and projects
  • Work closely with security architects, engineers, business stakeholders, and technical teams
  • Participate in solution design, gap analysis, and risk assessments aligned with NIST / ACSC standards
  • Support testing activities including UAT planning, validation, and defect triage for security platforms and controls
  • Analyze enterprise data sources (ex: CMDB, cloud platforms, IAM/PAM systems) and translate findings into actionable requirements
  • Ensure security policies, controls, and standards are embedded in project delivery
  • Create business cases, process flows, user stories, and technical documentation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes and governance

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

5+ years as a Cybersecurity Business Analyst with exposure to NIST and ACSC security standards

7+ years of Business & Data Analysis experience in enterprise environments

3+ years experience in Testing roles (test planning, execution, reporting)

Proven background as a BA in security projects, including but not limited to:

  • Infrastructure Security
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Cloud Security (IaaS / PaaS)
  • CMDB data analysis and security controls
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into business language
  • Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Preferred / Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in security frameworks (ISO 27001, CIS, Zero Trust)
  • Background working with ITIL, SOX, or risk & compliance environments
  • Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Azure AD, CyberArk, Splunk, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CCSK, CBAP, or AGILE BA
