AT A GLANCE

The Livestream Operator is responsible for managing the technical and operational aspects of livestream events to ensure smooth, high-quality broadcasts. This role supports live selling activities by setting up equipment, monitoring stream performance, assisting hosts, and coordinating with marketing and e-commerce teams.

YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY

Technical Setup & Operations

  • Set up and operate livestream equipment (cameras, lighting, audio, software, and internet connections).

  • Ensure livestream encoding settings (bitrate, resolution, frame rate) meet performance standards.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues (audio/video sync, connectivity, equipment setup) during broadcasts.

Livestream Execution

  • Manage platform settings, overlays, stickers, promo codes, and product displays.

  • Monitor stream quality in real time (video, sound, internet stability).

  • Provide live technical support to hosts (muting/unmuting, switching screens, assisting with product display).

Event Coordination & Preparation

  • Coordinate with the marketing team on livestream schedules, promotions, and event requirements.

  • Prepare products, visuals, and live selling tools prior to broadcasts.

  • Ensure all livestream assets and graphics are accurately applied during events.

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze livestream performance (views, engagement, technical issues).

  • Document and report stream performance to support optimization of future sessions.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve livestream operations.

YOUR TALENT

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Communications, IT, or a related field preferred.

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in livestream production, technical operations, or a related role.

  • Strong knowledge of livestream setup, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.

  • Proficiency in TikTok Shop Seller Center, TikTok Live Manager, and TikTok Live Seller tools.

  • Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues (connectivity, audio/video sync, hardware setup).

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage technical aspects under pressure.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with hosts and teams.

  • Prior experience in e-commerce livestreaming or online selling is an advantage.
