About the role

JUNE is a neighborhood eatery, bistro and natural wine bar set in the heart of BGC. Cuisine is Western with touches of Nordic, Modern New Zealand, and French-Italian influences.

Liberta Group Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Barista to join our team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a Senior Barista, you will be responsible for leading and training a team to deliver exceptional coffee and beverage experiences to our customers. Front-of-house experience is also a big plus as the role will be a leadership role and we expect the candidate to be able to lead a team.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the coffee bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Training and developing a team of baristas to maintain high standards of coffee preparation and customer service
  • Crafting speciality coffee and non-coffee beverages to delight our customers
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols
  • Collaborating with the management team to implement new menu items and improve operational processes
  • Providing excellent customer service and building relationships with our loyal clientele

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a barista or in a similar customer-facing role within the hospitality industry
  • Extensive knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, equipment, and industry trends
  • Strong leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for creating unique and memorable coffee and beverage experiences
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
