Media Relations Intern

The Media Relations Intern will primarily assist the Media Relations team by providing administrative support, including documentation and filing of media assets. This position offers valuable exposure to the day-to-day functions of media relations, communications management, and public relations operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.     Provide administrative support to the Media Relations team, including documentation and filing of media assets.

2.     Assist in maintaining and updating the media contact database.

3.     Assist in monitoring media coverage and preparing daily or weekly media clippings and reports across all formats and other resources.

4.     Support the coordination of media coverage, interviews, and press events.

5.     Conduct research on media outlets, journalists, and relevant industry updates.

6.     Track and compile reports on media exposure and campaign performance.

7.     Support the preparation of materials and logistics for media events and briefings.

8.     Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in media relations and public relations practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
