Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Associate to join our Treasury team. The role will primarily support cash management, disbursements, and treasury functions while assisting the Importation Manager in handling documentation and coordination tasks related to imported shipments. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to build their career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily disbursements including checks, fund transfers, and online payments
  • Monitor and record bank transactions and support daily cash management activities
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and help resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare, organize, and file treasury and accounting documents
  • Support the Importation Manager in preparing and processing import-related documentation, such as insurance, shipping documents, and government requirements
  • Coordinate with customs brokers for timely payment of duties, taxes, and other importation fees
  • Ensure proper recording and documentation of import-related transactions
  • Provide treasury and importation reports as needed for internal and external audit
  • Assist in implementing internal controls and process improvements within treasury and importation support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting, treasury, or importation support (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Basic knowledge of importation processes and documentation is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Good organizational and coordination skills
  • Trustworthy, proactive, and able to handle confidential information
