B. STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Receives, records, processes, and releases incoming and outgoing communications and other documents.

  2. Files and maintains official communications and documents.

  3. Conducts interviews for patients applying for medical/financial assistance.

  4. Guides and assists patients in securing financial/medical assistance.

  5. Processes transactions related to government accounts such as PCSO, DSWD, OVP, Pit Master, DOH-MAIP, and the Office of the President.

  6. Issues endorsements for assistance.

  7. Transmits guarantee letters.

  8. Prepares required Statements of Account for filing.

  9. Follows up on the status of medical/financial assistance applications and prepares weekly reports.

  10. Monitors the status of endorsements to PCSO, DSWD, OVP, Pit Master, DOH-MAIP, and the Office of the President.

  11. Coordinates with the Credit and Collection and Billing Departments.

C. BASIC RELATIONSHIP

  • Reports directly to the Supervisor of Medical Social Service.

D. QUALIFICATIONS
a. Must be a graduate of Social Work.
b. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
c. Able to work well with others.
d. Sensitive to confidential matters.
e. Excellent organizational skills.
f. Possesses a pleasant disposition.
