Tax Compliance Officer

Binondo Metro Manila, Philippines Super 8 Retail Systems, Inc. Full time ₱400,000 - ₱600,000 per year

The position includes administrative roles for tax implementation, compliance and audit in the business,

which may include, but not limited to:

  1. Regulatory Requirements: Preparation of government (BIR, SEC, LGU) requirements, such as

reconciliations, schedule and filing of year-end inventory, book of accounts, etc.

  1. Tax Compliance: Monitoring compliance with existing government requirements and tax regulations.

  2. Tax Implementation: Keeping up to date with new tax rulings and issuances, and leading

implementation in the business.

  1. Tax Audit: Handling BIR and LGU audits and assessments; and coordinating with external auditors for

yearly audit of financial statement.

  1. Income Tax Returns and Financial Statement: Assistance in the preparation and filing of yearly tax

returns (ITRs) and financial reports (FS).

  1. Computerized Accounting System: Handling accreditation process of CAS

What we're looking for:

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • CPA certification must be held at the time of application.
  • Preferably with experience in a tax advisory or compliance role within the retail industry.
  • Excellent understanding of Philippine tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using tax software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of tax compliance experience is required.
