Tax Compliance Officer

The position includes administrative roles for tax implementation, compliance and audit in the business,
which may include, but not limited to:
- Regulatory Requirements: Preparation of government (BIR, SEC, LGU) requirements, such as
reconciliations, schedule and filing of year-end inventory, book of accounts, etc.
Tax Compliance: Monitoring compliance with existing government requirements and tax regulations.
Tax Implementation: Keeping up to date with new tax rulings and issuances, and leading
implementation in the business.
- Tax Audit: Handling BIR and LGU audits and assessments; and coordinating with external auditors for
yearly audit of financial statement.
- Income Tax Returns and Financial Statement: Assistance in the preparation and filing of yearly tax
returns (ITRs) and financial reports (FS).
- Computerized Accounting System: Handling accreditation process of CAS
What we're looking for:
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- CPA certification must be held at the time of application.
- Preferably with experience in a tax advisory or compliance role within the retail industry.
- Excellent understanding of Philippine tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using tax software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of tax compliance experience is required.
