We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Business Unit Accounting Supervisor to oversee the financial activities of a specific business unit. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and timely submission of reports to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day accounting operations of the assigned business unit.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Monitor budgets, track variances, and assist in cost control measures.
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and support business operations.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff within the unit.
  • Assist in audits and support internal control initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting systems.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
