About the role

This full-time Safety Officer position at Phil. Rigid Construction Corporation in Tayud Consolacion Cebu is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our construction workforce. As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures to protect our employees and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards
  2. Investigating and documenting all incidents, accidents, and near-misses
  3. Maintaining detailed records and reports on safety performance
  4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards

What we're looking for

  1. Preferably a Mechanical Engineering graduate
  2. Those without prior experience as a Safety Officer are encouraged to apply
  3. Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices relevant to the construction sector
  4. Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or a relevant safety-related qualification
