Virtual University Assistant

Responsibilities and Key Duties:
- Conduct proactive outreach by making focused outbound calls to prospective students, with the goal of increasing application confirmations and driving enrolments.
- Deliver exceptional student support across multiple communication channels (phone, email, live chat, and other non-voice platforms), ensuring a seamless and positive applicant experience.
- Provide accurate guidance on all aspects of the admissions and enrolment process, offering clear information and timely updates to student applicants.
- Handle inbound enquiries efficiently by responding to calls, emails, and live chat messages, while consistently meeting established service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Safeguard data accuracy by adhering to strict data management and integrity protocols, ensuring that all records are consistently updated and maintained with precision.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to support departmental goals, taking on additional responsibilities as required to meet evolving business needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance student engagement, streamline processes, and improve overall service delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' professional experience in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry, with proven expertise in both voice and non-voice support functions.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (such as GDPR) is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Strong customer-centric mindset, with a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding service and building positive student relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, including proficiency in both written and verbal English.
- Demonstrated capacity to multitask, prioritize effectively, and remain composed under pressure, while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace new responsibilities as the role and business requirements evolve.
