Parpad Builders Incorporated is seeking a highly motivated Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards across all construction sites, promoting a safe working environment, and minimizing risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and guidelines at construction sites.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Lead toolbox meetings and safety training sessions for workers.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports on safety performance and compliance.
  • Maintain updated safety records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to improve safety measures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
  • BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) or COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) Certification (mandatory).
  • First Aid and Fire Safety training certification is an advantage.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of DOLE and other local safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple construction sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
