The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing BI solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making. This role ensures the delivery of accurate, scalable, and visually compelling dashboards, reports, and analytics across the organization. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer collaborates closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to drive innovation and promote data-driven culture.


• Exposure to
cloud-based BI ecosystems
(e.g., Power BI Service, Tableau Cloud, Looker on GCP).


•
Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and query optimization.


• Solid understanding of data modeling, star/snowflake schema design, and dimensional modeling concepts.


• Experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, and modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks).


• Familiarity with best practices for dashboard UX/UI design and data storytelling.


• Proven ability to translate enterprise strategy into KPIs.


• Exposure to Agile or DevSecOps development methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.; Master's degree is a plus
  • Experience in analytics, visualization, or enterprise dashboard design.
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of significant experience using Tableau.
  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality dashboards, reports, and self-service BI solutions using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools.
  • Develop and optimize data models, semantic layers, and complex visualizations to support business needs and KPIs.
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and integrity of reports by conducting rigorous testing and validation of BI outputs.
  • Document BI workflows, data models, dashboards, and reporting standards clearly and consistently.
