Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing

  • Prepare, verify, and process payroll for all employees on a regular schedule.
  • Review timesheets, attendance records, adjustments, and overall payroll inputs for accuracy.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are entered correctly into the payroll system.

Compliance and Audit

  • Ensure payroll practices comply with government regulations, labor laws, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain complete and accurate payroll documentation for auditing and reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external payroll audits.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate payroll reports, summaries, and analysis for management.
  • Identify payroll discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Monitor trends (e.g., overtime, allowances, deductions) and recommend process improvements.

Data Management

  • Maintain employee payroll files including salary changes, benefits, deductions, and tax information.
  • Coordinate with HR for employee movements (new hires, transfers, separations).
  • Validate and update payroll system configurations as needed.

Employee Support

  • Address payroll-related inquiries and provide clear resolutions.
  • Educate employees on payroll processes, payslips, and policies when needed.

Systems and Process Improvement

  • Work with HR, Finance, and IT to streamline payroll processes.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting payroll software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, HR, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or HR administration (depending on company needs).
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php19,000.00 per month
